As an element, silver forms into very soft dendritic, wiry growths and rarely forms
as a crystal. Silver differs from Gold,
and is likely less sought after, because of its vulnerability to tarnishing
when exposed to the atmosphere. Silver conducts electricity and heat remarkably
well. Like Gold, Silver forms in
hydrothermal veins.
